Winter Activities in The Smokies
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Visiting the Smokies in the winter is magical; lights and decorations everywhere and, if we’re lucky, snow-capped mountain views! There’s no shortage of fun things to do in the chilly weather. At Crave we have indoor mini-golf, mini-bowling, AND escape rooms! So let’s get into it: here are a few of our other favorite things!
Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show is a great time, even in the winter! The grandstands are climate-controlled to ensure guests are comfortable no matter the temperature. The show is full of exciting timbersports and fun for the whole family. Experience Christmas at Lumberjack Feud through January 2, 2020!
There’s no better way to stay warm than to work up a sweat playing at TopJump Trampoline & Extreme Arena! With 30,000 square feet of indoor space filled with trampolines, a climbing area, dodgeball, and basketball, there’s something fun for everyone there.
Is a visit to Sevier County really complete without going to Dollywood? We don’t think so! This time of year is so fun at Dollywood: 5 million twinkling lights fill the park and this year for the first time ever, fireworks light up the sky for the Smoky Mountain Christmas.
Ice skating is a must and at Ober Gatlinburg, you can! Immersing yourself in the Smokies is best here simply because of the tram ride OR drive to the top! The views are unbeatable and the activities and fun are endless! Feeling more adventurous? Try out snow tubing, snow skiing, or snowboarding on the only slopes in Tennessee!
Be sure to add these things to your itinerary for your next visit to the Smokies! See y’all soon!
